Breaking Barriers is a new Arts Project for adults with learning disabilities. Not only does it offer an exciting opportunity to develop personal creativity and skills for life through creative and performing arts, but also gives trainees the chance to make an impact and affect change within their own and the wider community. * Promote positive views towards people with learning disabilities within the * Develop alternative ways of expression * Develop artistic excellence * Promote further employment and life skills
What will I do? You will work with experienced teachers, artists and support staff. Though performing and creative arts, you can develop and improve a variety of life and employment skills. These include communication, advocacy, problem solving, teamwork, numeracy and literacy skills.
